in the beginning

Founded in 1998 by a pair of degenerate young mates, Skydive the Beach Sydney has grown up a lot. We now celebrate over ten years of bringing the ultimate skydiving experience to people all over the world. From early days operating with one small Cessna 206, we are now the largest tandem skydiving centre in NSW Australia and own an impressive fleet of 6 aircraft. The latest addition is a speedy Cresco, capable of carrying 10 people up to 14,000ft in around 11 minutes (that’s quick). This little beastie is usually found at our Hunter Valley digs in Elderslie.

Skydive the Beach Melbourne opened in May 2011 and skydive over the incredible St Kilda coastline. Melbourne's only beach skydive is experiencing a phenomenal response from the local and international communities in Melbourne as we bring the sport of skydiving right in to the heart of Melbourne.

Skydive the Central Coast opened its doors at Warnervale Airport in July 2011 and is the newest drop zone in the Skydive the Beach business. We are excited to be based in the heart of the Central Coast region. What better way to experience such spectacular coastal views than from 14,000ft over the Central Cosat. Experience remarkable views of the Great Lakes region, Lake Macquarie, The Entrance and stunning coastline.

We are staffed by an energetic young team, passionate about delivering the perfect skydiving adventure! Whether it be over the Central Coast, the vines in the Hunter Valley or over the golden sands of Southern Sydney or Melbourne, we strive to ensure you have an amazing experience that you will never forget!

Our skydiving staff are highly experienced in their field, where many currently compete on a national and international level. We are happy to boast 3 World Champions and 7 Australian National Champions on the team – so you’re in safe skies when you jump with the Skydive the Beach group.

Gold Winners in the 2009 South Coast Tourism Awards, Silver winners in the NSW Tourism Awards in 2009, and Winner in the 2009 Illawarra Business Awards and Illawarra Tourism Awards both in 2003 and 2005 for our sister drop zone in Wollongong, NSW. The Skydive the Beach group of companies is active in promoting business excellence in their respective regions to a national and international market.
